JIM “JINX” JENKINS
I am a retired United States Marine Corps Colonel who spent three decades leading Marines in demanding international environments.
I joined the United States Marine Corps in 1990 and served for 28 years as an officer and AH-1 Cobra pilot. During this time, I led organizations numbering from 40 to more than 4,000, had responsibility for operational budgets in excess of $200 million, and participated in or oversaw operations in more than 40 countries. I also managed training and curriculum development for all USMC job specialties and directed the development and testing of future technologies for USMC acquisition.
After retiring in 2018, I founded Integris Leadership to follow my passion for teaching and leadership development. I am currently headquartered in the Middle East where I provide instruction and mentorship to military helicopter pilots. I also serve as an advisory board member for two technology startups and IRONBOUND THRIVE—a nonprofit dedicated to lifting young people out of poverty through social entrepreneurship.
I attended Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program in 2015, hold a Master of Strategic Studies degree from the US Army War College, a Master of Social Sciences (International Relations) degree from Syracuse University, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Psychology) from Cornell University.
